9-12-08 Getting into the swing of Fall

Hope everything is going well with everyone!

We are slowly getting into our fall routine with school. Kiely is getting her homework done when she gets home from school, then dinner and then she plays with her friends outside. Soccer will be starting soon as well. I might be asking her if she would like to do another sport soon...maybe ice skating or gymnastics or swimming. We will be doing swimming for sure by Jan/Feb timeframe.

Haley and Josie had a good doctors appt on Tuesday. They are growing well. Haley even made the chart this time! I apologize that I don't have the weights/heights in this email but I do have them in their charts at home if you want to call Corey or I later on. Corey likes to have them race down the hallway at home. He promised to video tape it. He can do this as long as all the doors to the rooms are shut. So far Haley is the fastest. Josie's new game is trying to "kiss" her sister. She needs to work on the gentle part of the "kiss". Haley tells her this every time that she doesn't like it. They try to stand now on their own; they cruise around and try to climb up whatever they can including each other. Kiely likes to play with them and help keep them safe.

Corey is getting ready for the Iowa/Iowa State game. I may have talked him into going to the Goddard Space Center on Sat morning for a quick adventure at LaunchFest http://www.nasa.gov/centers/goddard/events/launchfest.html

Maybe fishing on Sunday afternoon - we will see how the weather is for both.
